Highlife artist, Kwabena Kwabena has disclosed the reason he abandoned a potential football career to pursue his passion for music.
Speaking on E Vibes with Becky, he explained that his love for music outweighed his interest in football
According to him, football is an exceptionally demanding sport, and he holds great admiration for those who choose it as their career.
“Football is a very difficult sport and that's the reason why I respect those who actually make a career out of it. The training and the mental process, everything about being a very good sportsman and having a successful career is quite a task. “
"I hung my boots at a very tender age. It was around age 20 or 21. I decided to forget about football. So many things played a role around that time. I had more passion for music than I had for football at the time. The passion for music was so much than it was for football. I decided to do music and further my education as well."

Part 2 of this conversation airs on JoyNews this Saturday at 8:30 a.m. and Saturday on JoyPrime at 4:30 pm.
The E Vibes show aims to rekindle memories by delving into the interviewees’ journeys and their experiences on their way to the top, with the hope that their unique stories will shape the younger generation.
