Speaking to the club’s website, he underscored how the move would help him realise his personal and professional ambitions.

"Stade Rennais is a great club, this is a great privilege for me. I am a player who does not like to lose, I am combative, I give everything for my colleagues and I am always looking for progression," he said.
"I am very close to Kamaldeen Sulemana, and I get along very well with Christopher Wooh. The rest of the players, I’ve faced them in Ligue 1, I'm sure we will get on well in the locker room."
Seidu becomes the latest Ghanaian to join the club following in the footsteps of John Mensah, Asamoah Gyan, John Boye, Kamal Issah and Kamaldeen Sulemana to have played for the Breton outfit.
