The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has named Joshua Makubu, the former Oti Regional Minister, as the Campaign Coordinator for Persons with Disabilities and Special Needs.
According to a statement issued by Dennis Miracles Aboagye, the Director of Communications for the Bawumia Campaign, Mr. Makubu's appointment takes effect immediately.
His primary responsibility is to advocate for the interests of persons with disabilities (PWDs) within the campaign framework.
He is also expected to ensure their concerns are adequately represented in the party's manifesto and campaign strategies.

Mr Makubu has been tasked with facilitating dialogue between the PWD community and the campaign and manifesto committees to ensure inclusivity and accessibility in the party's initiatives.
