In a spirit of fostering interfaith relations and cultural understanding, a delegation from GBfoods Ghana, led by Mr David Afflu, General Manager, recently paid a courtesy visit to Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, the National Chief Imam of Ghana, at his residence in Fadama.
The visit, coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan, allowed GBfoods Ghana to express its
gratitude to the Muslim community for their continued support.
Ramadan is a time for deep reflection, prayer, and acts of charity, and GBfoods Ghana acknowledges the significance of this sacred period for Ghanaians.
Mr Afflu emphasized, "We at GBfoods Ghana are especially honoured to connect with the Muslim community during this holy month of Ramadan. As families come together for Suhoor
and Iftar meals, Gino aims to inspire and empower them to create memorable and meaningful
moments with loved ones.
"Our range of delicious and nutritious tomato-based products offers a convenient way to prepare heartwarming meals that embody the spirit of care and togetherness that is central to Ramadan. Gino's consistent high quality allows Ghanaians to focus on sharing precious time with their loved ones. This aligns perfectly with our brand promise of 'Caring Guaranteed.”
Beyond its core business activities, GBfoods Ghana actively engages in initiatives that empower and celebrate culinary talents and Ghanaian communities. The company's commitment extends to fostering interfaith dialogue and religious understanding.
The delegation was warmly received by Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu and His Clergy. His Eminence Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, in his address to GBfoods Ghana, indicated, "We are profoundly grateful. For whoever does not express gratitude to man does not show gratitude to God."
"So, therefore, we are very grateful to GBfoods Ghana. This kind of gesture to support the servants of God in the holy month of Fasting has its reward from God as professed in the Holy Qu'ran. For the Almighty Allah does not need your support, but if you support mankind, it is a gesture to His mankind."
As GBfoods Ghana continues to celebrate local flavours, it remains steadfast in its mission to deliver high-quality products that enrich culinary experiences and bring joy to millions of households across Ghana.
The company's focus on celebrating authentic local flavours, supporting local communities, and driving sustainable practices positions it as a trusted partner and a source of consumer pride.
