The lifeless body of a three-year-old girl was discovered without her tongue after she went missing for three days at Dagombaline, located within the Asokore Mampong Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
The grim discovery was made by children playing football nearby who stumbled upon the body while retrieving their ball from a building housing police officers.
The body was found on the top floor of the building, which was currently undergoing renovation following a recent fire incident.

The victim, identified as Taslima Labaran, was a twin and had been missing since Thursday despite her mother's frantic efforts, including lodging an official complaint with the police.
Rukaya Muntari, the grieving mother, tearfully recounted her last moments with her missing daughter, expressing her frustration over the unsuccessful search efforts.
In response to the distressing discovery, police officers, assisted by community members, have transported the body to the morgue as part of their ongoing investigation.
The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, with residents gathering at the scene to witness the heartbreaking outcome of the search effort.
