Some areas in Accra got flooded again after a downpour on Wednesday, May 22.
The heavy but brief rainfall obstructed the flow of vehicular traffic on the Kaneshie to Mallam stretch of the Kasoa Highway, the Central Business District, and Odawna, among other areas.
While many commuters parked their cars for the rain to subside, others carefully drove through the flood which covered most part of the road.
Two young men narrowly escaped death at Teshie near Accra after the entire roofing of a building under construction fell off and trapped them just before midday, Wednesday.
Strong winds that preceded a heavy but brief downpour is blamed for the incident.
