The National Disaster Management Organisation's (NADMO) rescue team recovered the body of a man who tragically fell victim to the recent torrential rains and subsequent flooding at Nanakrom near Adenta in Accra.
The victim, name withheld, was swept away by the powerful floodwaters and found deceased in a nearby waterway.
The Adentan Municipal NADMO rescue team, with the support of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for the Adentan Constituency, Akosua Manu worked tirelessly to locate and retrieve the body.

The team worked around the clock to ensure the recovery of the deceased.
The body was later handed over to the family and religious leaders for burial, in accordance with Islamic customs and traditions as the deceased male was a Muslim.
The community came together to pay their respects and offer condolences to the grieving family.

The Parliamentary Candidate, popularly known as Kozie, expressed her condolences to the bereaved family and advised all to be extra careful during this rainy season.
Akosua Manu assured the community members that she would work around the clock to provide relief to victims in flooded areas of the constituency.
