The Member of Parliament for Kpando, Della Sowah says she will continue to play a pivotal role in the development and progress of the constituency.
She identified her end of tenure in parliament as a “detour” and, hence would continue to make her expertise and services available to her beloved constituency.
She was speaking to JoyNews, after inspecting some completed and ongoing projects in the constituency.
“Exiting parliament is just a phrase, I don't think in reality you exit. I don't see it as the end of the road, I see it as a detour. I will always be here and I will always do what I have to do to move the municipality and constituency forward”, she explained.

Madam Sowah and her entourage inspected the newly constructed Kpando Municipal Assembly complex.
The two-story structure consists of 40 offices, an assembly hall, a conference room, and ancillary facilities. She also inspected the progress of work on the 10-unit 2-bedroom apartment project nearby of the office complex, which is at the footing level.

Madam Sowah expressed excitement at the end of an era of the assembly operating in limited spaces in offices scattered across, with some occupying facilities owned by the Ghana Health Services.
She lauded the Local Government Ministry for honouring her request to provide Kpando with a befitting office complex, which would enhance the administration of the municipality.
“I give appreciation to the Ministry of Local Government and the Assembly here, the current MCE, Hon Joe Badasu for all the support they have given to see this thing [office complex] come to fruition. It is a testament to the fact that parliament works. When you push in parliament, you see the result on the ground”, she said.
She also inspected progress of the construction of pavilions for Kpando Aloyi, Togorme Abanu, Bame and Aziavi.
Through her efforts, the Kpando Zongo community would witness improved sanitation. She supported the community in constructing a modern 18-seater sanitary facility to replace a dilapidated one.
