The Black Stars have arrived in Kumasi, Ghana, after a hard-fought 2-1 win over Mali in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
The contingent departed Bamako after the match and touched down in the early hours of Friday.
They are expected to rest before beginning preparations for the upcoming tie against the Central African Republic.
The team came from behind to beat the Malians in Bamako, with goals from Ernest Nuamah, which cancelled out Kamory Doumbia’s opener, and Jordan Ayew’s injury-time winner.
As a result of the win, Ghana now occupies the second position with six points in Group I and hopes to beat the Central African Republic in the match on June 10 to further boost their chances of qualifying for the global showpiece.
