The New Patriotic Party's Parliamentary Candidate for the Effia constituency in the Western Region, Isaac Boamah Nyarko, has offered support to some students as they prepare for the upcoming Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
Recognising the importance of education, Mr Nyarko donated essential supplies to help the students prepare more adequately.
In a brief ceremony held a week before the examination, Mr Nyarko said: "Education is very key, and with our students set to write their exams next week, I felt it was necessary to support them. I've decided to donate a math set, each including a pencil and a ruler, to assist in their exam preparations. This donation covers all students within the Effia Constituency, both in public and private schools. We have 1,074 students writing the exams, but I've brought 1,200 sets to ensure everyone is covered. If there are any discrepancies, the municipal assembly will provide additional supplies."

Mr Nyarko expressed his optimism about the students' performance, adding, "I am very optimistic that our students will excel, and I have promised a special reward for the top performers. This is all part of our efforts to promote education in the Effia constituency."
Jane Sekumm Abban, the Public Relations Officer for the EKMA Education Directorate, thanked Mr Nyarko for his timely contribution.
"Thank you, Honorable Nyarko, for this timely and essential donation. It comes just as the exam is fast approaching. I assure you that the students will do their best and bring home excellent results, deserving the rewards you have promised. Your generosity is greatly appreciated, and we hope you will continue to support the Education Directorate's mission to improve learning outcomes.”
The donation is expected to enhance the student's preparation and performance, contributing to the overall improvement of quality educational outcomes in the Effia constituency.
