On Thursday, August 8, the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) announced the closure of its investigation into the Airbus bribery scandal involving former President John Dramani Mahama.
According to the Special Prosecutor, Kissi Agyebeng, there is no evidence of corruption or bribery against the former President; an assertion that has been widely applauded by the opposition NDC and rejected by the governing NPP.
