Ghanaian boxer Ayitey Powers has shared that the passing of Nigerian Televangelist and philanthropist TB Joshua affected him more deeply than the death of his own parents.
In an interview on TV3, Ayitey Powers revealed the close bond he had with the late prophet and the plans they had together.
He recalled that before TB Joshua’s unexpected death, the prophet had invited him to visit his church.
Unfortunately, Ayitey Powers delayed, only to later learn about the prophet’s passing through the news.
Reflecting on the loss, he expressed his disbelief, saying, “Sometimes when I think about his death, I realize that God works in mysterious ways. How could Prophet TB Joshua die at that age?"
"He called me to visit his church, but I delayed, and he passed away. He mentioned he wouldn’t celebrate his birthday, and we didn’t know he was going to die. If I had known, we discussed many things together. So, TB Joshua’s death hurts me more than the death of my mother and father.”
