Newly signed Barcelona defender David Oduro has revealed his admiration for soon-to-be teammate Alejandro Balde.
The Ghanaian youngster signed for the Spanish side this summer on a three-year deal from Ghana Premier League side Accra Lions.
Oduro was unveiled earlier on Tuesday following the completion of the deal after a successful trial with the club.
Speaking to Sporty TV, the 18-year-old expressed excitement ahead of starting his Spanish adventure.
"My role model is Alejandro Balde. I always look up to him because I want to learn a few things from him," Oduro said.

"[Hopefully if things go well] I will compete with him. It will be a great feeling because I've always watched him play. I admire him a lot so it will be a great feeling for me."
Oduro is one of two Ghanaians to have joined Barcelona with the other being Abdul Aziz Issah who joins on loan from Dreams FC.
The two players will begin their careers at Barcelona with Barca Athletic.
