Gideon Boako, a spokesperson for Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has publicly vouched for the credibility of the vice president, stating that he can confidently attest to his trustworthiness and integrity.
Speaking at a mini rally held after the visit of the party’s running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Dr Boako emphasized that Dr. Bawumia’s track record in public service is impeccable and deserving of full confidence from Ghanaians.
According to him, the Vice President has demonstrated unwavering commitment to the nation’s development and has remained honest throughout his political career.

He highlighted several key achievements under Dr. Bawumia’s leadership, particularly in the areas of economic transformation and digitization.
He noted that the vice president has played a pivotal role in implementing policies that have modernized Ghana’s economy, making it more competitive on the global stage. Boako argued that these contributions reflect Dr. Bawumia’s credibility and dedication to improving the lives of ordinary Ghanaians.
In his defense of Dr. Bawumia’s character, Dr Boako addressed criticisms aimed at the vice president, dismissing them as politically motivated.

He stressed that detractors often fail to acknowledge the significant strides the vice president has made in areas like financial inclusion and governance reforms.
Dr Boako further asserted that Dr. Bawumia’s integrity is beyond question, and his actions have always been guided by a desire to serve the public good.
"As a Vice President, you all know how well Dr Bawumia has distinguished himself. Many people believe he is the best Vice President Ghana has ever had. I am 100% in support of this claim. Dr Bawumia is a man of impeccable integrity. He is hardworking and very caring. If you vote for him, Ghana can only be better under his presidency, and Tano North Constituency will be the ultimate beneficiary, Dr Boako told the crowd.
