The Body of a baby has been retrieved from the VIP bus which got involved in an accident on the Kumasi-Obuasi highway yesterday, bringing the death toll to fourteen.
The baby was discovered by staff of a towing service who were engaged to remove the bus that had run into a ditch resulting in the casualties.
The identity of the parents of the baby is yet to be identified 24 hours after the incident.
The dead now include three minors. The accident has so far claimed fourteen lives with thirteen of them recorded on the spot.

Six of the eight injured persons taken to the Obuasi Government Hospital were treated and discharged as two others continue to respond to treatment.
According to the Administrator of the Obuasi Government Hospital, Peace Mati, some families of the deceased persons have been to the hospital to identify the bodies of their relatives.
Survivors of the accident say the bus with registration number ER 2445-11 travelling to Enchi was overloaded after picking some stranded passengers whose bus had broken down on the road.
It is believed a confrontation between some aggrieved passengers concerning the overloaded bus caused the driver to lose concentration and run into a ditch
