The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), has openly criticised Members of Parliament and parliamentary candidates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for their apparent lack of commitment to the party's campaign efforts ahead of the 2024 elections.
In a Facebook post on Saturday, October 26, Mr Nkansah expressed disappointment with party representatives who seem to lack faith in the NPP’s chances of victory.
Mr Nkansah pointed out that the party’s MPs and parliamentary candidates are not showing the necessary seriousness in their campaigns, which he believes could negatively impact the NPP’s overall performance.
He urged them to re-evaluate their approach and show greater enthusiasm and determination, as the election outcome depends heavily on the collective effort of all party members.
Expressing his confidence in the NPP’s prospects, Mr Nkansah stated that he is convinced the party will secure victory in the upcoming polls.
He emphasised that a win would serve as a lesson to those within the party who may be doubting its strength and ability to win the support of Ghanaians.
"You are MP/PC and you are telling people we will not win the election. No wonder, you are not showing any seriousness in campaigning. You do this and blame others for your issues."
"BTW, we are winning this election to shame people like you. Meanwhile, when we win, such People will go lobbying for positions."
