Lawyer Amma Frimpomaa, a senior member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has called on first-time voters to show appreciation to Vice President and NPP Flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia by supporting him at the polls on December 7.
She highlighted that voting for Dr. Bawumia is a meaningful way to recognise the government’s impactful initiatives, particularly the Free Maternal Health Care and Free Senior High School (FSHS) programmes.
Speaking to the media in Odomase, Sunyani West Municipality, Lawyer Frimpomaa emphasized that these programs have directly benefited many young people and their families.

She remarked that first-time voters and their families would be “ungrateful” if they did not acknowledge the government’s efforts through their votes.
Following her media engagement, Lawyer Frimpomaa made a substantial donation to the NPP’s Sunyani West Constituency office, including eight new motorbikes, 1,000 branded NPP T-shirts, and GH₵20,000.
These resources, she explained, are to support coordinators in reaching voters across the seven zones within the constituency, especially in more remote areas, to strengthen the NPP’s campaign efforts.
Frimpomaa also reminded Ghanaians of the significant impact the FSHS program has had on the younger generation, urging voters to consider the benefits when heading to the polls. By voting for Dr. Bawumia, she noted, Ghanaians would be supporting a continued expansion of these initiatives to benefit even more citizens.
With the 2024 elections drawing closer, Frimpomaa stressed that the NPP could not afford complacency. She encouraged party members to intensify campaign efforts, communicate Dr. Bawumia’s vision effectively, and work towards retaining the Sunyani West parliamentary seat as well.
