The President of Seychelles, Wavel Ramkalawan, and First Lady Linda Ramkalawan, paid a historic visit to Jubilee House on Wednesday, November 21, as part of their official tour to Ghana.
The visit aims to strengthen the diplomatic and economic ties between the two nations.
The visit also coincides with the 100th Anniversary celebrations of the late Asantehene, Nana Agyeman Prempeh I's return from exile in Seychelles, a poignant reminder of the historical connection between Ghana and Seychelles.
President Ramkalawan and the First Lady are expected to travel to Kumasi over the weekend to meet the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, as part of the centenary celebrations.
This milestone visit not only highlights the shared history of the two nations but also serves as a foundation for deeper collaboration in trade, tourism, and cultural exchange.
