Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has pledged to complete the Agenda 111 hospital project within his first year in office if elected in the 2024 general election.
Speaking at a campaign rally at Abbosey Okai in the Ablekuma Central Constituency, Dr. Bawumia highlighted significant progress on the project, with some hospitals expected to be operational by the end of 2024.
He said the initiative would create 70,000 jobs for healthcare professionals, addressing unemployment while bolstering the country's healthcare system.
Dr. Bawumia also promised to introduce a flat rate tax system at the ports, aimed at easing the financial burden on importers and enhancing their competitiveness.
Earlier in the day, the NPP engaged in a meet-and-greet session at the Mallam Atta Market and later visited the Hebron Prayer Center in the Nsawam Adogyiri Constituency.
Addressing the Christian community, Dr. Bawumia appealed for prayers to secure electoral victory, pledging to sustain the Free SHS policy and other key initiatives introduced by the NPP.
