The Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has reiterated his unwavering faith in the sovereign power of God as he seeks to lead the nation as President.
Dr Bawumia visited the Hebron Prayer Camp at Medie in the Nsawam Adoagyiri Constituency on Tuesday morning, where thousands of worshippers have been gathering in prayer for days.
Addressing the congregation during his visit, Dr Bawumia expressed gratitude for their intercessions for the country, affirming his belief in the power of prayer and the will of God.
"I have been informed that over the past days, you have been praying and fasting for the country, and I want to thank you. May God listen to your prayers, and may He also bless you," Dr Bawumia said to the enthusiastic congregation.
"On December 7, we will be voting to elect a new leader for our country as well as new Members of Parliament. I believe it is only God who installs leaders. Whatever we do, without God, it is in vain," Dr Bawumia emphasised.
"As the Bible says, ‘Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labour in vain.’ Men cannot do it, but with God, all things are possible," he added.

He continued, "Again, as the Bible reminds us, ‘His ways are not our ways.’ God works in mysterious ways beyond our understanding. Just as God used Cyrus in the Bible to help the Israelites, I believe God can use Dr Bawumia to help our country, Ghana. So we need your prayers, and I believe we all need prayers."
The congregation gave Dr Bawumia a rousing reception, and he expressed deep gratitude to the church leadership and the worshippers for their warm welcome and prayers.
The leadership of the Hebron Prayer Camp also conveyed their appreciation to Dr Bawumia for his "special" visit, describing it as an honour and a blessing.
