The leader of the Movement for Change, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, has pledged to construct a new ultra-modern market with auxiliary facilities, including a kindergarten, clinic, and decent toilet facilities, to improve market conditions for traders.
He made this promise during the first day of his caravan tour in the Volta Region, at Keta, where he met and interacted with traders mostly market women.
He emphasized the importance of providing a kindergarten to help nursing mothers care for their babies while they sell.

Alan Kyerematen highlighted the urgent need for traders to have comfortable conditions while conducting their business.
He added that such improvements would help boost the local economy, attracting more traders and customers to the Keta and Anloga markets.

He urged the women to campaign for and vote massively for him to transform the area economically.
Mr Kyerematen also expressed his deep affection for the Volta region, pledging to prioritize its development if given the mandate to lead Ghana.
As his campaign enters its final days, Alan Kyerematen remains hopeful that the outcome of the election will go in his favour.

Traders welcomed the announcement with enthusiasm and promised their support at the polls.
They reiterated the urgent need for change to spur development in the region.
