South African actress and singer, Rosemary Zimu has opened up on what motivated her to go into acting.
According to her, if she pursued a career in acting solely to improve her finances, she would be struggling.
The actress, widely known for playing the character ‘Zinhle’ in Netflix’s South African hit series; ‘Savage Beauty’, made this known while reacting to a question about how fulfilling acting has been to her.

In a conversation with Noella Kharyne Yalley on Hitz FM's Daybreak Hitz, she said: "I have never felt like acting is not fulfilling to me at all. Whether financially or for me as a person, I didn’t choose acting, acting chose me and that was clearly for a reason.
“So, I know that God will never put me in a place where I will suffer forever. After a little suffering, I know that something great is coming. If I were doing it for the finances, I think I’d be struggling, but I’m not doing it for that so that’s why they come as an extra"

Rosemary Zimu born on 15 April 1993 is a South African actress, singer, and songwriter. She is best known for her roles in motion pictures like Isidingo, Savage Beauty, Shadow (2017), Champagne (2015), and Scandal!
In May 2022, Zimu made her appearance in Netflix's series Savage Beauty, alongside Nthati Mosheshand Jesse Suntele.
