The media as the fourth estate of the realm, plays a vital role in ensuring a free and fair election.

In Ghana, JoyNews holds the fort as the leading media house in election coverage. In a show of support for the vital role of journalism in elections, the Youth Bridge Foundation Ghana (YBF) in collaboration with the Star Ghana Foundation, the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office is appealing to stakeholders involved with the general elections, especially media houses to be circumspect in their reportage and transparent in their operations.
The Youth Bridge Foundation, represented by the Mawuena Azumah, presented items to the Joy News entreating them to be professional and transparent during elections.

On behalf of the Joy News team, Emefa Apawu and Emefa Akosua Adeti from the Joy News Team expressed gratitude to the organisations and assured credible and transparent reporting as required.
The kind gesture of the Youth Bridge Foundation Ghana (YBF) will be remembered by the Multimedia Group and the Joy News Team.
Ghana heads to the 2024 election polls, and the focus on JoyNews’ readiness reflects our commitment to upholding its democratic credentials. JoyNews, with this boost, is poised to set the standard for election reporting in the region.
