Algeria will host the second edition of the FIFA Series tournament, scheduled for the international window from June 2 to 10, 2025.
Next year's series, the second since its inception in March 2024, will feature four teams competing in a format that allows each side to play two matches.
Just as the inaugural edition in March 2024, participating teams will play two matches each in next year's tournament.
Reports in Algeria suggest the country's football governing body; the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) plans to use different venues from the inaugural tournament. The Hocine Aït Ahmed in Tizi-Ouzou, Ali La Pointe in Douéra, and Miloud Hadefi in Oran are among the facilities under consideration for the event.
The timing of the tournament means Algeria will be actively involved in competitive games from March when the 2026 World Cup qualifiers resume, through to December when AFCON 2025 starts in Morocco.
Algeria, like many other countries, are scheduled to play six World Cup qualifying matches in 2025 and are expected to play some international friendly matches in a tight 2025 calendar.
