Frank Asiedu Bekoe, affectionately known as Protozoa, has claimed victory in the Suhum parliamentary race on the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ticket.
He secured 16,855 votes, edging out his closest contender from the National Democratic Congress (NDC), who garnered 15,259 votes.
The tightly contested election culminated in a decisive win for Frank Bekoe, reaffirming the NPP’s stronghold in Suhum, a pivotal constituency in the Eastern Region.
The margin of victory not only highlights the party’s continued dominance but also underscores the trust constituents have placed in their new representative.
“This victory is for all of us,” Frank Bekoe declared in his post-election speech.
“I will work tirelessly to deliver on my promises and ensure Suhum continues to thrive under NPP’s leadership.”
The results mark a significant achievement for Frank Bekoe and his party.
