Lawyers of referee Maxwell Hanson are demanding retraction, apology and compensation from Anim Addo over his allegation claims.
The Young Apostles co-owner had labelled the Ghana Premier League official on X formerly Twitter as the man used for "dirty jobs" by the Ghana FA in the Ghana in top-flight.
His criticism follows the referee's performance in Accra Lions' defeat to Dreams FC which led to the former calling for urgent reforms to the league.
In a letter written to Anim Addo, Hanson wants the social post deleted, apology pinned and compensation for the "reputation damage".
The statement reads: "Delete the publication from your X account and procure that any social media posts are removed.
"Publish, with equivalent prominence to the original publication, a suitable retraction and apology in terms to be agreed. Pin the apology on your X account so that it remains searchable to users.
"Compensate our client for the damage to their reputation, distress, and any financial loss caused. Pay our Client's legal cost."
Failure to comply by Anim Addo will result in a legal action without any further notice.
