Berekum Chelsea failed to make home advantage count when they faced Young Apostles on matchday 24 of the Ghana Premier League.
The Berekum-based side needed a late goal from Benjamin Baidoo to snatch a point at home as they struggles continued.
Chelsea, who had won just two of their last nine games heading into the fixture, were hoping to get back to winning ways against Young Apostles, who had failed to win any of their last 10 away games.
However, it was the visitors who struck first in the game.
Richmond Opoku opened the scoring with his ninth goal of the Premier League season to give Young Apostles in the second half after a goalless first 45 minutes.
The visitors looked certain to wrap up all three points as the game travelled to the dying embers.
However, Abaidoo pulled off an equaliser late into additional time to level the score and ensure Chelsea extended their current unbeaten home record to nine games.
The result leaves Chelsea 15th on the league log while Young Apostles languish in 17th.
