Southampton manager, Ivan Juric, is hoping to keep Ghanaian forward Kamaldeen Sulemana at the club as he believes in his abilities.
Kamaldeen starred for the Saints over the weekend as they knocked out Swansea City from the FA Cup on Sunday, January 12.
The winger scored one and set up another as the South Coast side recorded a 3-0 win over Swansea at the St Mary’s Park.
Prior to the arrival of Juric, Kamaldeen had struggled at the club for game time with injuries also taking a toll on him. However, his performances against Swansea breathes life into his future at the club with the gaffer lauding his abilities.
"He's a young player who needs confidence, but he can really help the team. I knew him before and understand everything about his time in France and the challenges he's faced here. I believe he's a good player, and right now, good players need to stay at Southampton," Juric said.
Following his starring role, Juric will be hoping Kamaldeen's resurgence could spark Southampton out of the relegation zone.
