The Western Region branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has extended its congratulations to Joseph Nelson and Hon. Emelia Arthur on their recent nominations for ministerial roles in President John Dramani Mahama’s administration.
Joseph Nelson, a distinguished figure with extensive experience and strong ties to the Western Region, has been nominated as the Western Regional Minister. His track record of service and dedication to the region positions him as a capable leader for this vital role.
Equally, Madam Emelia Arthur has been nominated to head the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture. Her leadership in community development and sustainable fisheries has been widely recognized, making her a fitting choice for this critical sector.
The NDC in the Western Region sees these nominations as a testament to President Mahama’s confidence in the region’s leadership potential. The party expressed gratitude to the president for his commitment to empowering leaders from the area, who exemplify excellence and dedication to national progress.
“We stand united in support of these distinguished nominees and look forward to their transformative contributions to our region and the nation as a whole,” the party said in a statement signed by Richard Kirk Mensah, the Western Regional Communications Officer.
The party further expressed optimism for additional nominations from the region as President Mahama continues to assemble a team committed to Ghana’s development.
The Western Region NDC also expressed its appreciation to President Mahama for recognizing the talents within the region and pledged its unwavering support for the nominees as they prepare to serve in their respective roles.
