Chief Revenue Officer, Evans Teye Agbozo has been handed the baton to lead the Kumasi collection of the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority.
He is succeeding Assistant Commissioner Vivian Glover, who successfully retired after 37 years in service.
Mr. Teye joined the division in 1991 as a Collection Assistant Grade III and worked through the ranks to his present position.
Prior to his appointment as the sector commander, CRO Agbozo was the Second-in-Command for the Kumasi Collection.

He has served as the Officer-in-charge of the Monitoring and Surveillance unit at the Post Clearance Audit in Tema.
Mr. Agbozo is a member of the Institute of Directors – Ghana and holds a Master of Science degree in Corporate Planning and Governance from the University of Cape Coast.
He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics with Philosophy from the University of Ghana and a Diploma in Public Relations from the Ghana Institute of Journalism.
He is an old student of the Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School in Legon.
CRO Evans Teye Agbozo is assuming the position with a lot of experience as he has won for himself and the commanded many prestigious laurels.
He is a two-time recipient of the Certificate of Merit from the World Customs Organisation for 2017 and 2023. In 1995, he was conferred and Honorary Ambassador by the Ghana Olympic Committee for the 1996 Olympic Games held in Atlanta, USA.
Mr. Agbozo is happily married with three daughters.
