Ghanaian record producer, songwriter, Lynx Entertainment boss, Richie Mensah, has recently shared his insights on the best timing of song releases.
During an interview on Daybreak Hitz with DJ Slim, he emphasised the importance of long-term planning for maximum impact.
"There's no best time to drop a song, it depends on you," he stated.
He however mentioned that "If you want a December hit, don't release in December, it doesn't work. To get a December hit, your song needs to come out between July and August, so that it has time for people to absorb it and love it."
Richie revealed the sophisticated understanding of market dynamics. He understands that building anticipation and allowing listeners time to connect with a song are crucial for success. This isn't simply about a quick chart climb; it's about fostering lasting engagement.
This holistic strategy speaks to a deeper understanding of the music industry and a commitment to nurturing his artistes’potential.
