The Minister nominee for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has revealed that the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) team will present its final report to President John Mahama in the coming days.
According to him, the report outlines efforts to reclaim state assets and funds allegedly misappropriated by officials of the previous administration.
The ORAL Chairman said this when he was responding to questions before the Appointments Committee of Parliament on Friday, January 31.

“The way forward is that all the information that have come from patriotic Ghanaians, we will be handing over our report soon, in the next few days to His Excellency, the President, the appointer and then he will decide, which is Attorney General.
According to him, the ORAL initiative is a key part of the government’s anti-corruption drive aimed at ensuring accountability and restoring public confidence in governance.
Mr Ablakwa indicated that the programme is proof of President Mahama's commitment to fighting corruption.
He assured the committee that the findings will guide further actions, including legal proceedings where necessary.
He was on the path of explaining Phase II, “the execution phase, the retrieval phase” but was interjected by the committee Chairman Bernard Ahiafor.
The North Tongu legislator reiterated that the Mahama administration is determined to recover stolen state resources and hold those responsible accountable, adding that Ghanaians will be duly informed of the next steps after the report is officially handed over.
