Security has been strengthened in Parliament with a perimeter at the entrance to the chamber to block suspended Members of Parliament (MPs) from gaining access.
According to JoyNews' parliamentary correspondent, Kwaku Asante, the security was heightened ahead of Tuesday's proceedings.
He stated that the move aims not only to prevent the suspended MPs but also to stop non-MPs from entering the chamber.
The House is expected to make a decision on the approval of several ministerial nominees who were vetted earlier by the Appointment Committee.
The MPs were suspended by the Speaker for two weeks following their involvement in the chaos that occurred during the proceedings of the Appointment Committee on Thursday, January 31.
