President John Mahama has reassigned the former Member of Parliament for Bongo, Edward Abambire Bawa as the Group Chief Executive Officer of GOIL.
Until his new appointment, Edward Bawa was the Acting CEO of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation, appointed effective January 17, 2025.
His new appointment as GOIL Group CEO takes immediate effect, Myjoyonline.com has learned.
Edward Bawa holds a Bachelor of Education in Chemistry from the University of Cape Coast and a Master of Business Administration in Business Finance from the University of Liverpool, and previously served as the Head of Communication for the World Bank's oil and gas capacity-building project.
