Cassona Global Imaging, a leading provider of diagnostic imaging solutions, has provided free hands-on training to 67 students from three prestigious institutions in Ghana.
They include Accra Technical University and University of Cape Coast.
This initiative marked a significant milestone in Cassona Global Imaging's commitment to supporting the development of future healthcare professionals in Ghana.
The training, which focused on advanced ultrasound technologies, was led by Dr. Mary Goretti Owende, Clinical Specialist from Mindray Central Africa Region.
The students, who are studying medical laboratory technology, sonography, radiology, and radiography, were enthusiastic about the training, asking insightful questions and engaging actively with the presenter.
Dr. Owende provided a detailed explanation of elastography, a technology used to assess liver stiffness and detect liver fibrosis. She also discussed other advanced features of ultrasound machines, including liver assessments and women's health applications.

Dr. Henry Hackman, Head of Department of Medical Laboratory Technology at Accra Technical University, praised the initiative, stating, "This partnership with Cassona Global Imaging will enable our students to gain hands-on experience with modern diagnostic imaging equipment. This is a critical component of their education, and we are grateful to Cassona Global Imaging for providing this opportunity."
At the end of the training, each student was awarded a certificate of participation from Cassona Global Imaging, acknowledging their successful completion of the program. This certificate serves as a testament to the students' commitment to their education and their desire to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in diagnostic imaging.
The training marked the beginning of a potential long-term partnership between Cassona Global Imaging and the participating institutions. With plans to extend the training to other institutions and expand the scope of the program, Cassona Global Imaging is demonstrating its commitment to supporting the development of future healthcare professionals in Ghana.
As Cassona Global Imaging continues to support the development of future healthcare professionals in Ghana, the company remains committed to its mission of providing high-quality diagnostic imaging solutions to the healthcare industry. By empowering these future professionals with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed, Cassona Global Imaging is helping to shape the future of healthcare in Ghana.
