The 12-member committee assigned to investigate the opposition New Patriotic Party's (NPP) defeat in the 2024 general elections on Wednesday, April 16, presented findings of the probe to the National leadership of the party.
At the event held at Alisa Hotel in Accra, Chairman of the committee, Prof Aaron Mike Oquaye and his team presented the official document to the party.
In attendance were the party’s bigwigs, including the former President Nana Akufo-Addo, Vice President Dr Bawumia, former Running mate Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Minority Leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, the General Secretary of the party, Justin Kodua, among others.
The probe was aimed at identifying the cause of the party’s defeat in the elections and finding ways to discourage such things in future elections.
After the presentation of the findings to the party, Prof Mike Oquaye declined to make comments on the document.
The party is yet to make the findings available to the public.
