Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus scored in West Ham United's 3-2 defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion in the English Premier League on Saturday at the American Express Stadium.
Brighton's Yasin Ayari opened the scoring with a stunning 30-yard strike, but Kudus levelled the game just after halftime with a smart finish from Jarrod Bowen's cutback.
West Ham thought they had secured the win when Tomas Soucek headed them 2-1 ahead in the 83rd minute.
However, Brighton showed great resilience, with substitute Kaoru Mitoma equalising in the 89th minute after a slick team move.
Carlos Baleba smashed in the winner deep into stoppage time, securing a thrilling victory for Brighton.
This loss continues West Ham's struggles against Brighton, with the Hammers winning just three of their previous 17 meetings. West Ham will look to bounce back quickly when they face Tottenham on May 4th.
