Bechem United secured all three points against Legon Cities in Matchweek 30 of the Ghana Premier League at the Nana Gyeabour Park on Sunday.
Dalvin Yeboah’s 80th-minute strike proved to be the decider after a keenly contested first half between the two sides.
The visitors, Legon Cities, who are on the verge of relegation, threw everything forward in search of a goal.
However, Bechem’s resilient defense left them with few opportunities in front of goal during the opening stages of the match.
The second half proved decisive. A misplayed ball in midfield left a loose opportunity for Dalvin Yeboah, who pounced to put Bechem ahead bring the score 1-0 till the end.
The win lifts Bechem United to seventh place on the league table with 46 points. Meanwhile, Legon Cities remain in 17th place with 25 points, still trapped in the relegation zone.
