Today's edition of Newsfile is delving into the GH₵49.1 million National Signals Bureau saga, highlighting former NSB boss Kwabena Adu-Boahene’s claim that the funds were disbursed to various entities, including Members of Parliament, an opposition party, and a special aide to President Mahama for vehicle purchases
The programme will also examine President Mahama’s new Code of Conduct for government appointees, unveiled on 5 May 2025.
This stringent 66-page document forbids conflicts of interest, mandates asset declarations, bans the purchase of state assets and gifts above GH₵20,000 without disclosure, and establishes clear enforcement mechanisms to promote transparency and integrity in public service.

In assessing the administration’s performance, Newsfile will also review Mahama’s first 120 days in office under his “Resetting Ghana” agenda.
Key initiatives cited included the formation of a leaner government, the abolition of several burdensome taxes, the launch of major environmental and job-creation programmes, and the establishment of the National Economic and Education Dialogues—all aimed at rebuilding trust and delivering tangible benefits to Ghanaians
