Environmental journalist and News Editor with the Multimedia Group, Kofi Adu Domfeh, has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Chairperson of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA), Ashanti Region.

He has successfully filed his nomination to put himself up for contest in the upcoming 2025 GJA elections.

With over two decades of experience in the media landscape, Mr Domfeh is widely respected for his dedication to socially responsive journalism, capacity building, and thought leadership in media.

His decision to run as Chairperson of GJA - Ashanti is rooted in a deep-seated conviction that journalism must be a catalyst for community transformation.

“Every community deserves the best of journalism; I believe in journalism that is ethical, transformative, and anchored in truth,” Mr Domfeh remarked. “I am stepping forward to serve, not only to uplift the standards of our profession in the region but to position GJA Ashanti as a beacon of integrity, innovation, and inclusiveness,” he said.

As a seasoned communicator and champion of development journalism, Kofi Adu Domfeh brings a leadership style defined by empathy, accountability, and results-driven advocacy.
