President John Mahama has announced plans to set up an inter-ministerial implementation committee to ensure the timely and transparent execution of key recommendations from the 2025 National Economic Dialogue.
Speaking at the Jubilee House on Wednesday, June 4, during the official presentation of the Dialogue’s final report, President Mahama revealed that an executive directive will be issued in the coming days to establish an inter-ministerial committee that will coordinate all related government actions.
According to him, the committee will be composed of key ministries and will include observers from civil society and the private sector.

The President explained that the committee is expected to publish its final implementation bulletin by August 2025.
"In the coming days, I will issue an executive directive establishing an inter-ministerial implementation committee to coordinate all actions flowing from the dialogue report," he said.
President Mahama also described the document as more than just a policy blueprint.

“The final report of the National Economic Dialogue is more than just a policy document. It is a covenant between the government and the governed, between evidence and action, and between vision and results,” he said.
The President praised Ghanaians for placing their trust in the dialogue process and reaffirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to translate the report’s findings into concrete reforms.

“We ask Ghanaians to trust this process, and you did. Today, I reaffirmed our end of the commitment. We will implement these reforms with honesty, urgency, and discipline. We will govern not in secrecy but in openness. We will place national interest above every narrow consideration,” President Mahama stated.
The 2025 National Economic Dialogue brought together economists, business leaders, policymakers, and citizen groups to deliberate on sustainable economic reforms aimed at stabilising Ghana’s economy and restoring growth.
