CEO of Hohoe United FC, John Peter Amewu has been honoured with the Club CEO of the Year award at the 2025 Ghana Football Awards.
Amewu’s leadership off the field was instrumental in Hohoe United’s promotion to the Ghana Premier League this season — a historic achievement for the club.
He also spearheaded the construction of of a new 10,000‑seat stadium in Hohoe, significantly boosting local sports infrastructure.
Again, he has facilitated youth development initiatives, including scouting tournaments involving European talent scouts.
He beat strong competition from Kwame Danquah of Nations FC, DCOP Lydia Yaako Donkor of Police Ladies FC, and Randy Abbey of Hearts of Lions.
