Firefighters from the Madina Fire Station swiftly responded to a fire outbreak at Paatang Trassaco Northern Quarters in Accra on the morning of 13th July 2025, successfully bringing the situation under control within minutes of arrival.
In a post on Facebook shared by the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), it reported that the distress call was received at 10:19 a.m., prompting an immediate dispatch of fire personnel.

The crew arrived at the scene by 10:33 a.m., where they encountered four excavators and a security post engulfed in flames.

Firefighters acted promptly, managing to contain the blaze by 10:49 a.m. and fully extinguishing it by 11:00 a.m.

According to the GNFS, the fire caused partial damage to the excavators and completely destroyed the security post.

No casualties were reported in the incident. An investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of the fire.
