The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has converged at the University of Ghana Stadium for its highly anticipated National Delegates Conference.
More than 5,500 delegates from across the country are expected to participate in this crucial gathering, aimed at charting a new course for the party following its significant defeat in the 2024 general elections.
Held under the theme “Rebuilding Together with Our Values,” the conference signals a moment of reflection and a call to realign with the party’s founding principles.
At the heart of the proceedings is the consideration of 59 proposed amendments to the NPP’s constitution. These proposals seek to reshape the party’s internal structures, strengthen grassroots mobilisation, and refine its democratic processes strategies seen as vital to positioning the party for a comeback in the 2028 elections.
