Norwich City midfielder Forson Amankwah has set his sights on helping the club secure promotion to the Premier League at the end of the season.
The Canaries missed out on a return to the English top flight at the end of the 2024/25 season despite their strong start to the campaign.
However, they are looking to mount another promotion quest in the new Championship season, with Amankwah looking to be heavily involved in their bid for Premier League football again.
“The club wants to get promoted, so as a player, you also need that because the Premier League is the best league," he said in an interview with Flashscore.com.
"It's like the top league, and then everybody's watching the Premier League. So I'm prepared for that, and then I hope we get the best of it.”
“We hope for the best next season, and then I hope we can get promoted. We will do everything and try our best to just get promoted.”
Norwich got their new season underway with a home defeat to Millwall last weekend, with the Ghanaian youngster getting 60 minutes of action under his belt.
