Ghanaian forward Jerry Afriyie is nearing a move to Belgian Jupiler Pro side La Louviere for the 2025/26 season from Saudi Pro League side Al Qadsiah.
Afriyie is expected to join the newly promoted club for the new campaign, with a possible option to extend his stay at the club.
The Black Stars striker is currently in Belgium with medical tests scheduled for the coming days before completing the move.
Afriyie signed for the Saudi club last season before being loaned to Spanish lower-tier side CD Lugo for the 2024/25 season.
While on loan, the 18-year-old scored four goals in 10 appearances for the club in the Primera Federacion as they finished 13th on the league table.
The player had been with his parent club Al Qadsiah for pre-season, but now looks set to play in the Belgian league this campaign.
