The National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) Director for Asutifi South District in the Ahafo Region, Johnson Opoku Tawiah, has appealed for adequate support to help improve their work
In an interview with Adom News, he explained that their work needs a lot of resources to sensitise residents to prevent of any form of disaster and also to support persons affected with disasters but sincerely speaking, less attention is given to the department concerning resources.

According to him, his department is embarking on education at schools, churches, and markets, among others, therefore, it will be good for the district chief executive, individuals, and companies in the district to support them.

"We have spoken to the DCE; we do not want any unfortunate incident to occur before we extend a helping hand. We have also engaged other NGOs so that they can support us with some equipment in times of difficulty. We are not going to rest on our laurels; wherever we visit ourselves, we continue to educate the public in places such as markets, schools, mosques, and filling stations," he explained.
