The International Business Forum themed “Social Responsibility of Business: Investments in a Common Future” will convene entrepreneurs and experts from 34 countries in Moscow, Russia on 21 September.
The event, taking place at the World Trade Center under the platform of the World Public Assembly, will spotlight the role of business in shaping a sustainable global future.
Discussions will centre on building trusted, long-term international partnerships, corporate social responsibility, and the contribution of public diplomacy to a favourable business climate. The forum will also explore collaborative models between governments, the private sector and civil society.
Confirmed speakers include Mamodjun Kwidjim Taure, Chief Executive of Ubuntu Group in South Africa; Kan Zaw, Myanmar’s Minister of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations; and Saleumxay Kommasith, Deputy Prime Minister of Laos.
Proceedings will be moderated by Alexander Ageev, Director General of the Institute for Economic Strategies of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The forum will address global challenges such as economic and political fragmentation, as well as the impact of emerging technologies, while presenting pathways to transform the global economic architecture.
Sessions will highlight solutions that integrate advanced technologies with strategic investments in human capital and quality of life.
The programme features panel discussions, including “From Trust Between People to Trust Between Economies: Humanitarian Foundations of International Partnership” and “The Role of Business in Economic Integration in an Era of Global Change.”
In addition, participants will showcase new technologies, innovative products, and investment projects, alongside B2B negotiations.
More than 30 international companies are expected to exhibit their offerings, with several cross-border business agreements set to be signed.
