In an exciting encounter in the Ghana Premier League as Young Apostles will be hosting Medeama Sporting Club at the Wenchi Sports Stadium on September 14, marking their opening fixture of the 2025/26 season.
Young Apostles, who narrowly escaped relegation last season by finishing 15th, will be eager to prove themselves under new head coach Abu Abdul Hanan.
Medeama Sporting Club, on the other hand, had a more successful campaign last season, finishing 8th in the league table.
Their experience and league position could give them an edge over Young Apostles. However, the home team has shown determination to start the new season on a high note.
In their previous encounter on April 26, 2025, Medeama dominated Young Apostles, winning 3-0.
This result could put pressure on Young Apostles to perform better this time around.
They will be looking to make a strong statement by securing a win at their home ground, with a higher table finish in sight.
