The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has forecasted variably cloudy conditions across most parts of the country throughout today, Sunday, September 28.
In its 24-hour forecast, GMet indicated that southern Ghana will experience isolated, slight rains in the morning, while northern Ghana is expected to record thunderstorms and rain later in the day.
Mist and fog patches are also likely to form over coastal, mountainous and forest areas during the early hours, reducing visibility for motorists.
According to the forecast, brief spells of sunshine will break through in the afternoon.
However, there remains a high likelihood of thunderstorms or rain across the coast, middle belt, transition, and northern sectors from late afternoon into the evening.
Temperatures are expected to range between 22°C and 34°C nationwide, with Wa, Tamale, and Bolgatanga recording the highest peaks.
Meanwhile, the state of the sea is expected to be rough, posing caution for fishermen and coastal communities.
The agency has urged the public to take necessary precautions, particularly those traveling, engaging in outdoor activities, or working at sea.
